Does AeroCAD run in my browser?
AeroCAD is a Windows desktop app. Install the app to create and save your own airports.
What do I need to install it?
A 64-bit Windows PC. Windows 11 is recommended; the installer also permits Windows 10 22H2. The .NET runtime is included, so you don’t need Visual Studio or a separate .NET download.
Where are my airport projects saved?
You choose the location when you save a .aerocad project. Your files stay on your computer. Use Ctrl + S regularly—this Alpha uses manual saving.
What does “Alpha” mean here?
This is AeroCAD’s first public release. You can design runways, taxiways, aprons and lighting layouts, but features and file formats may change. Some property edits aren’t covered by undo yet. Keep a copy of projects you want to preserve.

AeroCAD is a project by Arteries, built around the fun of designing airports and getting the little details right.
